what we do

Connecting Regulators, Patients, and Caregivers is critical to the success of any medical marijuana program. Complia provides an intuitive platform for Patients and Caregivers to stay in compliance with state regulations.  Applicants can easily upload required supporting documents, respond to application questions, and make payments.  The Complia Regulator portal allows program staff to efficiently review applications and provide proactive updates on the status of applications.

Complia provides a robust system to track and manage a wide range of license types including cultivators, processors, dispensaries, testing laboratories, and more. Unlike other business licensing software, Complia was designed specifically for medical marijuana, recreational marijuana, and hemp programs. Stakeholders can easily apply for a new license, submit updates (such as a change in location), and renew licenses. Our streamlined, workflow-driven approval process allows regulators to process new business applications rapidly and effectively.

In many markets, regulations require that employees of marijuana businesses be vetted and credentialed with the State.  Complia’s employee credentialing module provides a simple and seamless registration process.  Regulators can easily track and manage employee applications and keep tabs on employees that have already been credentialed.  Complia can easily integrate with most ID printers for a seamless, end to end experience.  The system also integrates with seed-to-sale and other third party systems.

Complia is the only cannabis and hemp-specific licensing and registration software solution on the market today. Cannabis and hemp markets are rapidly evolving, and the Complia platform was specifically engineered to grow alongside these unique markets. Complia’s team of technologists and cannabis regulatory experts bring best practices from our experience in other cannabis markets so that you and your team can ensure the success of your cannabis program.

“Complia is a class act and I highly recommended them for your business needs. The dedication and knowledge of their team is priceless. It is not often you find a vendor that can meet, let alone exceed expectations. Complia is one of the main reasons changes to the Montana Medical Marijuana Program were deployed successfully and not only on time, but 30 days early, and continues to be successful.”

Montana Medical Marijuana Program

In early 2016, Complia was brought in with less 100 days to deploy an employee and business licensing platform for the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC). Complia met the aggressive timeline and delivered a fully configured platform that integrates seamlessly with Metrc, the state-selected seed-to-sale solution.

The Montana Department of Health and Human Services (DPHHS) looked to Complia to assist with a major overhaul of its cannabis licensing and registration platform. In less than 100 days, Complia provided a comprehensive patient, employee, and business registration solution.

On June 26, 2018 the people of Oklahoma passed State Question 788, creating an extremely robust medical cannabis market.  SQ 788 provided little time for the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) to implement the program. Complia was able to deliver in just 42 days – a new statewide record for technology implementation.
